Daylight saving time has come to an end, which means you've had to reset clocks all around your home (at least your non-smart clocks). If you've got an old digital clock or two you've yet to reset because you don't remember how to do it, reddit user soupjavelin offers a simple solution:
LPT: Hate trying to figure out how to reset your clock? Set an alarm on your phone for 11:59. Unplug the clock, and then plug it back in at 12:00.
Obviously this only works on clocks that reset to 12:00 when you plug them in and don't continue flashing (unless for some reason you don't mind the flashing). Naturally, the device's built-in clock-setting methods are a better option when you know how to work 'em, but this is a clever solution for the times you don't. Photo by Simon Brough/Shutterstock.
